Production Incentives: Financial Overview
Filming in Finland, particularly in the Tampere region, provides access to two distinct, stackable cash rebates designed to reduce your production costs:

National Incentive (Business Finland): Offers a national cash rebate of up to 25% for eligible audiovisual production costs incurred in Finland.

Tampere Regional Incentive: The City of Tampere offers a regional rebate on production expenses accrued within the Tampere region.

The base rebate is 10% of the production’s total budget spent in the region. This rebate is applicable to costs accrued during the pre-production, principal photography, and post-production stages.

An additional 0–5% increase to the rebate can be negotiated through marketing co-operation between the production and the City of Tampere.
